Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, a leading General Contractor in the Southeast, is seeking traveling Superintendents to oversee large-scale heavy civil road, highway, and bridge projects. You will coordinate onsite teams, ensure safety, and work with owners, designers, and subs to maintain schedules and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with extensive construction experience, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 8 years of construction experience preferred.
Knowledge of relevant OSHA rules and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
Strong written and verbal communication with management, owners, designers, and subs.
Must be able to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise civil construction projects from start to finish.
Advocate safety as the top priority and enforce safety plans and policies.
Collaborate with Estimating, Division, and Project Management on project coordination.
Develop production plans with budget goals in mind.
Assist in preparing project status reports and required documentation.
Maintain daily, progress, and compliance reports and logs.
