Duke Energy is seeking a Relay Technician with 4+ years of field protection, SCADA, and control work to perform testing, repair, and commissioning of relay protection systems at generation, transmission and distribution facilities.

The role supports planning and scheduling of crew activities, maintains accurate records, and operates all tools and test equipment. Candidates must demonstrate safe work practices, strong communication, and the ability to read prints and follow standards.

Formación

• Minimum four years of relay experience in field protection, SCADA, and control work.
• Ability to pass PRA seven-year background check.
• Demonstrated safety culture and adherence to procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Test and repair protective relays and SCADA control systems.
• Perform functional testing, commissioning and maintenance of relay protection systems.
• Assist planning and scheduling of crew work activities.
• Maintain accurate records and operate testing equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
