Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Relay Technician to perform relay maintenance, testing, commissioning, and repair of protective relay and SCADA control systems at generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of Relay experience performing field protection, SCADA, and the ability to pass PRA (Personal Risk Assessment) seven (7) year background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform Relay C&M activities in accordance with Duke Energy relay construction and maintenance standards.
• Test and repair protective relays, conduct functional testing, and commission and repair relay protection systems.
• Repair and testing of SCADA control systems at Generation, Transmission and Distribution facilities.
• Support planning and scheduling of crew work activities; maintain records and operate test equipment.
