Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and support multiple SSD project orders.

The role reports to the Substation Division Engineering & Drafting Section Manager and is based in Warrendale, PA in a hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities include designing and coordinating substation components, maintaining schedules, preparing drawings, and leading diverse engineering teams to improve margins and drive product development with internal

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 6–9 years of project experience.
• Advanced knowledge of substation applications, subsystems, field installation and testing.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office, CAD and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and coordinate components and systems for high voltage substation projects.
• Prepare and maintain project document schedules and master document lists.
• Prepare or supervise drawings and documents in support of orders and archive them after order completion.
• Provide engineering expertise across disciplines and support to other engineers.
• Resolve customer and supplier technical questions and troubleshoot field problems.
• Lead project teams to implement design improvements and cost reduction efforts.
