Job summary

The role involves designing, developing and implementing engineering aspects, leading teams, and coordinating with multiple groups to meet performance specifications. A BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of project experience are expected, with hybrid work arrangements in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of project-related experience.
• Expertise in substation theory, subsystems, field installation and testing.
• Strong computer skills with CAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement all engineering facets of substation projects.
• Analyze data to validate performance against specifications.
• Provide engineering leadership as primary contact for design issues.
• Lead major design projects and coordinate with other groups.
• Conduct product and technology training as required.
• Provide technical consultation to engineering and other groups.
• Review development programs and input on planning.
• Define scope for new tasks and set priorities with the Engineering Manager.
• Prepare time and manpower estimates for proposals.
• Provide back-up support for Engineering Manager and engineers.
• Represent the company to customers and Mitsubishi personnel.
