Job summary

Southern California Edison in Pomona, CA is hiring a Major Construction Associate Project Manager to oversee multiple substation projects within the IPSEC model. You will scope, estimate, budget, and oversee project execution and close-out, with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in construction project management or support and a valid Class C license. Hybrid modality with travel up to 25% is expected within the SCE service territory.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in construction project management or construction project support.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple work streams of one or more short-term projects or programs with responsibility for results (scope, schedule, cost) and safety objectives.
• Supports development of strategy, business cases, schedules, and budgets; participates in change control.
• Develops course of action on moderately complex projects with project leadership; mentors managers and contractors.
• Collaborates with Project Managers and management on complex project analysis and recommendations.
• Provides project leadership for safety and aligns with latest standards; ensures injury-free work.
