Qualifications

• 15 or more years of substation physical design experience.
• Familiar with ground-based Lidar and converting point cloud information.
• Knowledge of design techniques for technical plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and detailed review of various substation drawings.
• Conduct field walkdowns and gather data at client facilities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to designers and stakeholders.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (AutoCAD/MicroStation)

Ability to visualize Equipment Details and Clearances

Ability to multi-task

Ability to visualize parts in 3D

Education

Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
