Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. seeks a Manager for Area Substation Planning to lead engineers, coordinate with stakeholders, and advance load relief projects across regional grid infrastructure.

You will guide feasibility studies, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure alignment with CLCPA goals while partnering with regulators and internal groups to deliver cost‑effective, reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; financial and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage probabilistic modeling and analytical efforts to quantify load relief risk.
• Lead a team to develop tools for risk insights and planning methodologies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and regulators to align on timelines and cost effectiveness.
• Support forecasting, planning studies, and policy forecasting scenarios for electrification loads.
• Provide strategic leadership to ensure DPA priorities are executed and expanded.
