Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
• 8 years progressive engineering experience with required licenses.
• 4 years experience in Utility Electrical industry.
• Substation experience preferred.
• Ability to perform analyses with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Leads high-impact studies, research initiatives, and strategic analyses.
• Evaluates studies, contracts, legislation, and other docs to inform recommendations.
• Evaluates and standardizes procedures, policies, regulations, and standards; develops metrics.
• Leads cross-functional meetings to diagnose and solve complex technical challenges.
• Recommends resource structures and procedural revisions; supports department operations.
• Supports material planning for substation grounding and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Coaches mid-level and junior engineers to speed development.
• Promotes safety standards and a strong safety culture across teams.
• Interprets utility standards and regulatory requirements for compliance.
• Participates in storm restoration tasks and drills.
