The ideal candidate has 10+ years of substation engineering design experience, a PE license, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years of substation engineering design experience.
• PE certification.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience supporting EPC, field services, construction, or commissioning projects.
• Ability to contribute to proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, engineering schedules, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and drafters on substation projects.
• Oversee resource planning, performance management, and staff development.
• Ensure technical excellence and alignment with company values.
• Develop and review proposals, scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Support EPC, field services, and commissioning activities as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
