Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Subcontracts Manager 2 to lead a team of subcontracts professionals. You will oversee contracting strategy, pricing, milestone payments, and term negotiations with suppliers to support our mission-critical programs.

The role requires strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, at least 8 years in Subcontracts (or 6 with a Master’s), and leadership experience. Optional nationwide travel up to 10% and eligibility for a U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of Subcontracts/Contracts experience; or Master’s Degree with at least 6 years.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a team or as an IPT Lead.
• Knowledgeable in FAR, DFARS, and corporate flow downs, data rights negotiations, and commercial item determinations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of Subcontract Administrators to meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Negotiate subcontract terms, prices, milestones, and flow-downs with suppliers.
• Identify strategies to reduce cost and manage supplier risk with internal teams.
• Support supplier performance reviews and RTG plans with cross-functional partners.
• Act as SME for subcontract activities from RFP to closeout and data rights implementation.
