Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Subcontracts Manager 2 to lead a team of subcontract administrators in ensuring compliant, cost-effective contracts. You will negotiate terms, manage risk, and support supplier performance across complex programs.

Located in Boulder CO or Huntsville AL, remote work is not available. Requires 8+ years of subcontracts experience, FAR/DFARS knowledge, and leadership, with salaries in the upper mid-range and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years in Subcontracts/Contracts; or Master’s Degree and 6+ years.
• Minimum 2 years leading a team or IPT Lead.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and flow-downs, data rights negotiations, and commercial item determinations.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of Subcontract Administrators and ensures subcontracts meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Negotiates subcontract terms, price, milestones, and conditions with suppliers.
• Identifies cost-reduction opportunities and manages risk with the supply base.
• Supports supplier performance management and flow-downs with Contracts and PM teams.
