Polaris Inc. is seeking a leadership‑oriented engineer to design, validate, and support structural systems for Powersports vehicles from concept to production.

You will own components across the product lifecycle, collaborating with architects, PMs, suppliers, and manufacturing to achieve safety, quality, and cost goals. The role offers end‑to‑end ownership, opportunities to influence vehicle structures and manufacturing strategies across platforms, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Lead the design, development, and validation of structural components and assemblies from concept through production.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and product development tools (specifications, FMEA, design validation plans and reports).
• Ability to evaluate manufacturing methods balancing performance, safety, cost, and timing requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, product management, manufacturing, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, validation, and production implementation of structural components and assemblies.
• Own structural components from design through production support.
• Ensure designs meet safety, performance, quality, reliability, cost, and timing objectives.
• Create and maintain specifications, FMEAs, validation plans/reports, and related docs.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods to support design goals.
• Collaborate with program architects, engineers, designers, PM, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Develop concepts, layouts, sketches, and technical documentation for decision making.
• Partner with suppliers to develop structural solutions for new vehicles and accessories.
• Lead and participate in design reviews to align on technical direction.
• Investigate field and production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
