Equiliem seeks a Lead Structured Cabling Technician to oversee teams on large-scale commercial projects. You will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling, build IT closets, and deploy network equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.
This contract-to-hire role requires coordinating with general contractors and project stakeholders, reviewing blueprints, forecasting labor, and managing materials and schedules, with overtime and night shifts as needed.
The Lead Structured Cabling Technician is responsible for leading teams and performing structured cabling and low voltage installations on large-scale commercial projects. This role includes installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling systems, building IT closets, installing network equipment, and ensuring work complies with applicable safety and industry standards. The Lead Technician will coordinate field teams, communicate with project stakeholders, manage materials and labor needs, and review blueprints and project changes. This is a contract-to-hire position requiring flexibility to work overtime and night shifts as project needs require.
