Job summary

C2 Technology Group is accepting applications for a field installer role focusing on UTP, fiber, and copper cabling. You will test, certify, and document permanent links while coordinating with project managers and engineers.

A leadership capability to guide a crew is essential. Applicants should have 3+ years in low-voltage/telecommunications, proficiency with certification tools and test equipment, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in low-voltage/telecommunications with verifiable experience.
• Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and A/V cabling.
• Proficient with industry-standard certification tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install UTP, fiber, and copper cabling infrastructure.
• Test and certify permanent links and document results.
• Lead and manage installers in the field.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers; conduct site surveys.
• Complete installation documentation and QA reports.

Job description

Install UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling infrastructure

Test and certify permanent links using industry-standard equipment

Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports

Conduct site surveys, plan tasks, and coordinate with project managers and engineers

Lead and manage a crew of installers in the field

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage / telecommunications

Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video cabling

Proficiency with industry-recognized certification tools, test equipment, and processes

BICSI credentials are a plus

Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; perform basic math; and distinguish industry color codes

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures

Verifiable experience and character references required
