Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee and implement safety programs for projects in Louisiana. You will conduct inspections, develop site-specific safety plans, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

The role requires OSHA regulations knowledge, the ability to train employees, maintain safety records, and promote a strong safety culture across field teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a safety role within heavy civil construction.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; CHST or CSP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry safety standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work sites.
• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses with corrective actions.
