Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Structural Steel Installer to build and install structural systems for data centers across the United States. You will work on structural framing, Unistrut, and containment systems, ensuring safe, compliant installations.

Candidates should have experience with structural steel installation, reading drawings, and working at heights. Travel up to 100% is required; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two+ years experience in structural steel erection or related construction.
• Ability to read/interpret structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience working at heights with fall protection.
• Experience operating aerial lifts.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus).
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install structural steel components including beams, columns, braces, embeds, and framing.
• Install structural supports and Unistrut systems for electrical infrastructure.
• Read and interpret structural/shop drawings and blueprints.
• Align, level, and secure members using hand tools and torque devices.
• Assemble and bolt structural connections per specs.
• Verify layout and alignment prior to final installation.
• Assist with rigging and signaling during crane operations when qualified.
• Install anchors and verify torque per project specs.
• Use lasers and layout tools for accurate installation.
• Operate aerial and other lifts safely.
• Perform basic fabrication and field modifications as needed.
• Follow OSHA and site safety requirements.
