LPA is seeking a Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead a team in the design and management of major projects. This role focuses on initiating and executing engineering projects for prominent owners, with high visibility and client interaction.

You will guide a structural engineering team, ensure quality, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver sustainable, high-performance spaces. LPA emphasizes career growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in structural or architectural engineering.
• Structural Engineering (SE) license required.
• 10+ years of technical design experience.
• Experience using ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM and RISA; proficient with common structural tools.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in highly collaborative environments.
• Commitment to work as an integrated design team member.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in completing building design and retrofit projects.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines and clients (owners, districts, municipalities, developers).
• Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of structural engineering project teams.
• Oversee project Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Help develop and maintain a high-performing team.
• Mentor team members for professional growth.
• Contribute to process improvements to make work better and faster.
