LPA, Inc. is a trailblazing, award-winning multidisciplinary design firm focused on sustainable spaces. We seek a Structural Designer to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, and planners in California.

You will contribute to a broad range of projects—from offices to education and performing arts centers—participating in design, analysis, and construction administration while pursuing licensure and professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of structural design concepts and codes is required.
• Familiarity with Revit, RAM, RISA and ETABs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA
• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in structural design of diverse building types
• Work on research for next generation design and analysis methods
• Actively participate in construction administration phases
• Receive mentorship and training focused on PE and SE licensure
