Job summary

LVI Associates, a Chicago-based firm renowned in structural and civil engineering, seeks a Structural Department Manager in the Loop. You will lead the structural group, shape a high-performing team and ensure quality, delivery, and client satisfaction across diverse infrastructure projects.

You will oversee technical excellence, budgets and resource planning while collaborating with architects, consultants and agencies to deliver compliant, constructible solutions and drive business

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's welcomed).
15+ years of structural engineering experience, including leadership/management.
Illinois PE required; SE license strongly preferred and highly valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the structural team and maintain a culture of creativity, accountability and growth.
Own project delivery from concept through construction with multidisciplinary teams.
Develop and review drawings, calculations and specifications; seal documents as Engineer of Record.
