Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a driven Structural Project Engineer in Atlanta/Nashville to support growth and lead project delivery. You will perform structural analysis, coordinate with senior staff, prepare calculations, and engage with clients to drive successful outcomes.

The role offers exposure to complex projects, mentorship, and opportunities for professional advancement in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structural focus.
Master's degree in structural engineering preferred/required.
Active PE licensure preferred/required or in progress.
Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience in building design.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for various building projects.
Coordinate with senior engineers and support design team delivery.
Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
Assist with selection of structural systems, materials, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams for cohesive design solutions.
Support construction administration activities including RFIs, shop drawings, site visits.
Produce technical reports and assist with condition assessments and peer reviews.
Manage project tasks, schedules, and team coordination.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development.
