Datum Engineers seeks a Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams to drive design and the preparation of construction documents.

You will guide analysts, oversee drawing production, ensure compliance with building codes, and foster collaboration across disciplines while delivering high-quality, on-time services for diverse clients.

• Adhere to design criteria based on Building Codes and standards.
• Perform structural analysis and contribute to construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Organize internal teams to execute structural design.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and external team members.
• Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with internal and external team members.
• Develop and adhere to recognized design criteria based on Building Codes, Standard Practice, and Company Engineering Standards.
• Perform Structural Analysis and Design Calculations for incorporation into Construction Documents.
• Supervise the structural engineering work of other team members.
• Perform Construction Administration and Site Visits.
• Communicate structural engineering designs using sketches, drawings, details, and models.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the company by assisting with the development of design standards and details, and documenting and sharing lessons learned.
• Develop areas of specialty knowledge to become a resource to others in the firm.
• Additional responsibilities commensurate with your interests or abilities.
