Job summary

Conrad Consulting in Indianapolis seeks a Structural Project Engineer to lead projects from design through completion, staying hands-on with engineering and client interaction. The role emphasizes direct collaboration with clients and a path to project leadership within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 4+ years of structural experience, and a strong background in steel design, with excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor others and manage client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
PE license required.
4+ years of structural engineering experience.
Experience managing structural engineering projects.
Strong background in structural steel and connection design.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead structural projects from initial design through project closeout.
Design structural steel connections, building structures, foundations, stairs, and rails.
Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with IBC, ASCE, and AISC standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams.
Review drawings, calculations, and technical deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
