Job summary

Matrix Service is seeking a supervisor to oversee Craftsmen in daily work assignments within our structural ironwork operations in Washington. You will ensure adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental policies, and exercise strong communication with the Structural General Foreman or Superintendent.

Responsibilities include coordinating tool and equipment inventory, reviewing project status, reallocating resources to meet deadlines, and upholding high quality workmanship while enforcing

Qualifications

• Four or more years of refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of structural iron repair and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
• Pass Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or NCCER certification.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks; TWIC and 20-hour high hazard facility training.
• Must adhere to Matrix Service safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Craftsman's for daily work assignments.
• Coordinate inventory of power tools, equipment and hoses for Structural crew.
• Analyze complex structural ironwork projects and recommend alternatives.
• Review project status reports and reallocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Uphold a high quality of workmanship and enforce safety standards.
• Review JHA for compliance and participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Identify hazards and take corrective action; promote safety culture.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
