Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead crafts teams on refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction projects in Washington. You will oversee daily tasks, ensure safety compliance, and manage resources and drawings to meet project milestones.

Responsibilities include coordinating tool inventories, reviewing JHAs, and promoting a strong safety culture while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Travel and site presence are expected as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of refinery maintenance/turnaround/construction experience.
• Knowledge of structural iron repair and maintenance methods.
• Ability to read structural drawings.
• Pass Craft Skills Test at 70% or NCCER certification.
• Pass background check and drug testing as required.
• Must have TWIC card and 20-hour high hazard facility training.
• Preferred journeyperson status as final qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Craftsmen for daily work assignments.
• Enforce Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Coordinate inventory of tools and equipment for the structural crew.
• Analyze complex structural ironwork projects and propose strategies.
• Review project status reports and reallocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and JHA reviews.
• Promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.
