Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Structural Engineering Manager in Duluth, MN to lead design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems across buildings and bridges.

The role involves collaboration across disciplines from concept to construction, site visits, and field data collection. ABET‑accredited degree and 8+ years of experience are required, with strong PM, math, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years related experience in design of structural systems (concrete, masonry, steel, wood, etc.).
• Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects.
• Strong mathematical skills for load analysis and structural design.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) for drafting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License; travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Prepare documents, detailed calculations and specifications for structural systems within established schedule and budget.
• Work closely with current and prospective customers.
• Perform construction site visits and field observations.
• Collect field data, perform research and analysis, and prepare field reports.
