Job summary

Alpine, an ITW company, is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to lead final design reviews and seal truss designs, ensuring compliance with IBC/IRC across multiple jurisdictions. You will guide internal teams, mentor staff, and help advance engineering standards in a high-volume production environment.

Requirements include an active SE license (or PE actively pursuing SE), a Civil Engineering degree with structural emphasis, and ability to travel to office locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Active SE license or PE pursuing SE within defined timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, load paths, and connections.
• Familiar with IBC/IRC and industry standards.
• Ability to travel to office locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform final engineering review and seal truss designs to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Evaluate structural systems for load paths, connection integrity, and overall stability.
• Review and approve work from engineers, designers, and technicians for technical accuracy.
• Provide guidance on non-standard conditions and mentor engineering staff.
• Support stakeholders by resolving design questions and project-specific requirements.
• Improve engineering standards, best practices, and proprietary design tools through cross-team collaboration.
