Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure to support the design and delivery of facilities such as wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related infrastructure.

You will lead structural design, perform analyses, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative environment. This role offers hybrid, remote, or in-office work arrangements to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington (SE preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support structural design for water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plant structures, pump stations, lift stations, equipment support structures and foundations, and concrete/steel systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design per codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE).
• Develop construction documents: plans, specs, and calculations.
