Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team and support municipal, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE licensure within one year
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive structural engineering experience
• Experience performing structural analysis and engineering calculations
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and design practices

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
• Prepare engineering drawings, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Develop practical and constructible structural solutions for complex engineering challenges
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients throughout project execution
• Prepare permitting packages and supporting documentation for regulatory agencies
• Assist with project planning, scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and proposal preparation
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documents
• Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and workflows
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers
