Karins Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer/Project Manager to lead design of building structural components from foundation to roof framing.

The role covers project initiation, oversight, and coordination with clients, contractors, and staff on residential to high-rise projects. Responsibilities include producing design information, preparing specs and reports, and ensuring deadlines and profitability while managing engineers and drafters.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD and design software.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Knowledge of building and material codes.
• Experience managing staff and projects.
• Professional, cooperative and detail-oriented behavior.

Responsibilities

• Produce design information for drawings.
• Prepare specifications and engineering reports.
• Manage simple to complex projects from start to finish.
• Oversee, review, sign and seal drawings, reports and specifications.
• Assign work to and manage production of Project Engineers and Drafter as required.
• Meet required and promised project deadlines.
• Assure timely and profitable completion of projects.
• Interact with clients.
• Develop proposals for new projects.
• Review time entries and generate invoices.
• Initiate, manage and oversee design projects.
