Job summary

Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to lead our growing structural team in Rochelle, IL. You’ll design and inspect bridges, guide project teams, and help expand into new markets with proactive communication.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, 7–11 years of experience, and a professional license in IA/IL/WI or ability to obtain it. We offer a strong compensation package and a supportive, values‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures.
• Licensed structural engineer in IA, IL or WI or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bridge inspection and design services.
• Actively lead, develop and grow the structural engineering team.
• Be familiar with structural components.
• Work cross‑functionally with the Transportation team on projects.
