Job summary

Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to lead our growing structural team in Rochelle, IL. You’ll design and inspect bridges, guide project teams, and help expand into new markets with proactive communication.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, 7–11 years of experience, and a professional license in IA/IL/WI or ability to obtain it. We offer a strong compensation package and a supportive, values‑driven culture.

What it takes

Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 7 to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois or Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licencures. Additionally, you should:

• Know construction methods, materials and code requirements.
• Know how to develop design and construction plans.
• Use structural engineering software.
• Speak and write well.
• Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Be a team player.
