Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. seeks a Structural Discipline Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience for our Spokane office.

You will lead structural design for commercial building projects, manage from early design through construction, and coordinate closely with architects, owners, and contractors. We value independent, energetic team players who mentor junior staff, deliver compliant analyses and drawings, and strengthen client relationships through reliable execution.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures.
• Registration as a PE required; SE license preferred.
• Experience leading projects from design through construction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with architects, owners, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for commercial building projects.
• Manage projects from early design through construction.
• Review analysis models and design documents; coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Provide clear construction administration support and mentor junior staff.
