Job summary

Worley in the United States is seeking a seasoned structural designer to provide drafting services for energy and industrial projects. You will work within the structural team to develop steel and concrete drawings, and to supervise design activities at a project level.

The role requires hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, MicroStation V8i, AutoCAD and MS Office, and a solid grasp of IBC, ACI and AISC codes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 year technical diploma focused on structural design and drafting.
• Experience delivering structural drawings for industrial projects.
• Familiarity with IBC/ACI/AISC structural codes.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, schedule, deliverables and budgets.
• Prepare structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings with minimal supervision.
• Develop complete design drawing package for checking.
• Lead design team and ensure deliverable quality.
• Travel to job sites for site walkdowns.
• Coordinate drawings with other disciplines.
• Review and approve deliverables prior to issue.
