Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Designer for structural design and drafting across power generation and industrial facilities. You will collaborate with senior engineers, prepare steel and reinforced concrete drawings, and develop a complete design package for review.

With AVEVA E3D experience and proficiency in MicroStation V8i and AutoCAD, you will coordinate with other disciplines, manage material bills, and ensure compliance with IBC/ACI/AISC codes while delivering high-quality, timely work within

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in structural design for power generation and industrial facilities.
• 2 years AVEVA E3D experience.
• Experience with MicroStation V8i & AutoCAD.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• 2 years 3D model design review software experience using AVEVA E3D.
• Good working knowledge of IBC, ACI, and AISC codes.
• Team participation, self-motivation, organization.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand project scope, schedule, deliverables, milestones, and manhour budgets.
• Prepare structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings with minimal supervision.
• Develop a complete design drawing package for check/review.
• Interface with other disciplines in the drawing package.
• Assist in the preparation of bills of materials.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines for coordinated designs.
• Be familiar with client procedures and project specifications.
• Use AVEVA E3D/Navisworks to monitor design quality and progress.
• Review and approve deliverables prior to issue.
• Read and interpret supplier drawings and schematics.
• Identify issues and develop solutions, asking for assistance when needed.
