Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Concrete (Structural) Foreman for Quad Cities projects. You will lead and supervise concrete crews on structural construction sites, ensuring work is safe, on schedule, and meets specifications.

You will read and interpret drawings and project specs, plan pours, formwork, and rebar placement, coordinate with project teams, monitor progress, and mentor crew members to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural concrete construction experience.
• At least 2 years in foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, post-tension, rebar placement, concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership to manage and motivate a crew.
• Solid understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, or heavy civil projects is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews on structural construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to direct daily field activities.
• Plan and coordinate concrete pours, formwork, reinforcing steel placement, and finishing operations.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and company standards on site at all times.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum.
• Track crew productivity, material usage, and daily progress; report updates and flag issues early.
• Mentor and develop craft workers, fostering a culture of quality and accountability on the job site.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and inspect completed work prior to inspection or pour.
