Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials) required.
• 9+ years related work experience; 5+ years stress analysis on wing/empennage or related structures.
• 3+ years stress analysis on composite structures; experience with aircraft/heavy structures manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Performs lead level stress analysis on Boeing 787 Wing and/or Empennage primary structures.
• Uses hand analysis, Finite Element tools, and dynamic simulation tools for analysis.
• Reviews and signs off on supplier documents, drawings, analysis, tests, and reports.
