Job summary

The Clark County Department of Public Works seeks a Street Light Superintendent to lead a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems across the county. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years journeyman electrical experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with street lighting systems is required.
• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship may substitute for 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, direct, oversee and review the work of skilled and semi-skilled staff.
• Perform electrical and electronic installation, maintenance and repair on street lighting systems.
• Review Cartegraph requests and work orders; manage orders and update Cartegraph inventory.
• Coordinate with public utility and ensure NEC/safety compliance.
• Maintain records and ensure proper processing of materials and tools.
