SPONSORSHIP

Applicants for this position are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

Define how State Farm uses customer and prospect intelligence to deliver more relevant, coordinated, and measurable engagement across channels. This role is part of the Digital Growth Engine, a multidisciplinary organization focused on building a stronger learning advantage through trusted data, disciplined experimentation, intelligent decisioning, and scalable technology.

  • Identify and prioritize precision engagement opportunities across acquisition, conversion, service, cross-sell, and retention journeys.
  • Define audience, decision, treatment, channel, timing, and measurement strategies for next-best-action and personalized engagement use cases.
  • Partner with data science and analytics teams to translate business needs into model requirements and actionable decision strategies.
  • Coordinate with digital, marketing, agent, product, MarTech, privacy, and technology partners to design omnichannel operating approaches.
  • Develop business cases and roadmaps that connect engagement capabilities to customer value, growth outcomes, and economic discipline.
  • Use experimentation and incremental measurement to refine decision policies rather than relying only on model scores or correlation.
  • Document decision logic, operating assumptions, governance needs, and scale requirements for priority use cases.
Qualifications
  • 8 plus year experience in strategy, digital product, analytics, growth, innovation, consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence, and develop clear recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect customer needs, operational realities, technology capabilities, and enterprise priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready storytelling and decision support.
  • Ability to lead through influence and coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams in a complex enterprise environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a large, regulated enterprise and navigating privacy, security, legal, risk, and governance requirements.
  • Experience with digital customer journeys, insurance or financial services, growth analytics, personalization, experimentation, or marketing technology.
  • Demonstrated success working in cross-functional product or pod‑based operating models and moving work from insight to implementation.
  • A bias toward measurable outcomes, reusable capabilities, clear documentation, and continuous learning.
