Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations and provide excellent customer service. You will unload shipments, stock and face merchandise, and assist customers with purchases.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with some supervisory exposure; you will operate the cash register and handle transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to operate the cash register and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store processes.
• Stock merchandise and face shelves; build displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, scan items, bag purchases, and collect payment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Open/close the store as directed by Area Manager.
