Job summary

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years stewarding or related experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• New Mexico food handlers course within 30 days of hire date.
• Must pass a background investigation and pre-employment and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dish pantry department and manage dish collection and sorting.
• Operate, load, clean, and maintain the dishwashing equipment to standards.
• Provide clean utensils and dishes to kitchen and wait staff for service.
• Ensure dish washing conveyor and related equipment are cleaned and maintained according to standards.
• Coordinate repairs with service representatives and verify completion.
• Oversee cleaning schedules for dish pantry, walk-in, kitchen production, and banquet areas to meet health inspections.
• Manage quarterly inventory of china, glassware, and silverware and report results to supervisors.
• Lead daily shift stand-up meetings to share essential information with the team.
• Complete computer-assisted training in a timely manner.
• Oversee packing/transport of china and serveware for off-site events and returns.
• Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and properly documented.
