Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon is seeking a Lead Steward to manage stewarding and cleaning operations, ensuring clean dishes and silverware for the restaurant team. The role requires maintaining inventory, inspecting equipment for safety standards, and collaborating with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership.

The candidate should have at least 1 year in a Stewarding role, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced casino hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year progressive experience in the Stewarding Department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stewarding and cleaning operations to keep dishes and silverware clean.
• Assist in ordering and receiving non-food items for the Food & Beverage Department, maintaining inventory par levels.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it works and meets safety/cleanliness standards; authorize replacements as needed.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage; attend meetings and follow up on action items.
