Job summary

The Lead Medical Supply Technician (MST) supports the Sterile Processing Service management team at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System in Minneapolis, MN. You will supervise MSTs, distribute workload, and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks per established workflows.

Strong leadership and KSAs are essential for this role. Minimum qualifications include citizenship, six months of related experience or one year of health care education, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the work.
• One year of health care related education with courses such as sterile processing.
• Education and/or experience combination acceptable.
• Foreign education must be evaluated for creditability.
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing is required.
• Pre-employment physical/fitness evaluation may be required.
