Qualifications

• Vocational program for Central Service preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of instrument tracking systems preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized and traced.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; supervise others to meet customer expectations in Instrument Processing.
• Train others and serve as a resource to Sterile Processing staff and OR personnel.
• Interact and problem-solve with Operating Room staff; act as Vendor Lead.
