Qualifications

• Six months of experience demonstrating ability to perform the work or understand the work.
• One year above high school with health care related courses such as sterile processing or related programs.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education are qualifying for entry level.

Responsibilities

• Lead MST supervises daily operations of the SPS department and guides technicians to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure instruments are processed and returned promptly to clinical departments.
• Oversee adherence to infection control and sterilization standards to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor compliance with regulations, SOPs, IFUs, AAMI standards and procedures to maintain high standards.
• Act as a communication bridge between SPS team, clinic staff, and hospital management.
• Assemble highly complex instrument sets (e.g., open heart, ortho, cardiovascular, endoscopic instrumentation).
