Job summary

Froedtert Health West Bend hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to plan and coordinate daily sterile processing activities in our hospital's Sterile Processing Department. This on-site role requires adherence to established policies and procedures and collaboration with operating room teams.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of SPD experience (or 1 year SPD plus 1 year of leadership), a High School diploma, and CRCST or CSPDT certification or willingness to obtain within

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing; OR 1 year SPD experience plus 1 year of leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM or CSPDT from CBSPD is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily sterile processing activities following established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate resources to support the department and OR teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
