Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II - Surg/OR to join the team. The role supports surgical and OR reprocessing activities in a fast-paced setting, contributing to patient safety and high-quality care.

The position offers a 100% FTE schedule, 40 hours per week, with shifts Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM. Opportunities exist to advance within the Reprocessing Department's ladder and to pursue professional growth while benefiting

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in reprocessing.
  • Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician is required.

Sterile Processing Technician II - Surg/OR (Finance)

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 Hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.

All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided to our Sterile Processing Technicians which meets OSHA and AMMI standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience

1 year experience in reprocessing required

Licenses & Certifications
