Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Lead CSP Technician to oversee decontamination, cleaning, inspection, and packaging of reusable surgical instruments. You will manage case setups, maintain inventory, and ensure accurate documentation of sterilization processes at the Indianapolis campus.

The role requires CRCST, CSPDT, Endoscope Preprocessor, and CIS certifications, with at least 1 year of sterile processing experience and a High School Diploma or GED (Associates preferred).

Qualifications

• 1 year sterile processing or equivalent required.
• CRCST, CSPDT, Endoscope Preprocessor and CIS certifications required.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate reusable equipment and instruments manually and mechanically.
• Assess supplies for prescribed procedures and set up case carts.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper handling procedures.
• Monitor and document sterilizer parameters to ensure proper function.
• Participate in unit team management and provide performance feedback.
• Assemble instruments in trays following listed procedures and proper packing.
