Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Technician / Surgical Technologist to provide technical leadership for Sterile Processing and perioperative services. The role includes guidance, staff coaching, workflow coordination, and liaison work across Sterile Processing, OR, and Infection Prevention to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sterile Processing, Surgical Technology, or perioperative setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor Sterile Processing staff and Surgical Technologists.
• Knowledge of sterile processing principles, instrumentation, and infection prevention standards.
• Ability to interpret manufacturer IFUs and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Sterile Processing and Surgical Services.
• Serve as Surgical Technologist when needed in the OR.
• Ensure compliance with policies, IFUs, and regulatory standards.
• Lead operational readiness, workflow design, and training for HUB Surgery Center.
• Collaborate with OR, Materials Management, Infection Prevention, and other teams.
