Job summary

Baker Roofing Company seeks a Steep Slope Foreman to repair, remove, and install steep slope roofs at multiple sites. You will supervise and mentor laborers and roofers, operate a company vehicle daily, and coordinate with management to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications include 3–5 years in steep slope commercial roofing, English fluency (Spanish a plus), and valid CMV-capable driver's license. Expect frequent travel and strong safety leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on steep slope commercial roofing.
• Driver's license: Required; CMV approval.
• Certifications: OSHA10, First Aid, and CPR Training preferred.
• Languages: Fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Travel: Travel 80% Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Review job file, shop drawings, and scope with manager.
• Attend coordination and planning meetings with GC and customers.
• Receive manufacturer training as required.
• Ensure safety equipment and procedures are followed on site.
• Supervise crew daily on safety, quality, and labor production.
• Train and coach crew members and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit daily job reports and timesheets.
